Trails are ready for all skill levels, with favorite spots at several state parks, national wildlife refuges, Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site, along Greenway at Lincoln Park in Grand Forks or at Riverwood Golf Course in Bismarck. Check for rental availability. For a faster adventure explore North Dakota’s 2,800 miles of snowmobiling trails. There are 18 groomed trails that open in December, pending snow.
