“Freedom” Mural Downtown Rock Springs BRONZE SCULPTURES & PUBLIC ART Around nearly every corner you’ll find towering bronze sculptures throughout Rock Springs. Take a self-guided tour to visit some of the area’s most notable public-art displays. LOCAL ART GALLERIES Located in the pedestrian underpass near the yellow Union Pacific caboose, Art Underground Gallery in Rock Springs houses a robust collection of murals of various mediums and themes by the area’s accomplished and up-and-coming artists. A cultural oasis, the Community Fine Arts Center features work by legendary American painters like Norman Rockwell, Elliott Orr and Raphael Soyer as well as pieces from local and regional artists. The gallery also hosts touring exhibitions and performing-arts programs.
