MARINAS As Wyoming’s largest reservoir, Flaming Gorge offers boaters their pick of paved boat ramps. It also features three full-service marinas spread across its western and southern shores. Take advantage of their facilities, which include equipment and boat rentals, campsites and cabins, tackle shops for anglers and on-site dining. Or use the marinas as your jumping-off point for land excursions like hiking and biking. BUCKBOARD MARINA Located on the reservoir’s west side, Buckboard Marina is the closest to town — just 25 miles south of Green River. Onsite you’ll find all the amenities you’d need for a day or week by the water, including in-house fishing guides, full-service RV sites, a tackle shop and general store with food, drinks and Wyoming-state recreation licenses. Take advantage of their year-round RV camping and angling opportunities. LUCERNE VALLEY MARINA On the southwestern side, Lucerne Valley Marina is ideal for a day with family and friends on the water or a weekend fishing trip. Open April to mid-October, the marina offers boat slips for your own vessel or rentals for everything from paddleboards and pontoons to wakeboards and water skis. At day’s end, enjoy food-truck fare at the Lakeside Grill, followed by a soft bed in a waterfront cabin. CEDAR SPRINGS MARINA Two miles from Flaming Gorge Dam, the Cedar Springs Marina is on the south side of the reservoir. It’s open from mid-April to mid-October and offers a variety of camping and lodging facilities, tours of the lake, a full-service slip and the floating dockside Snag Bar & Grill. 18
