Lake Metigoshe State Park Cross Ranch State Park MAAH DAAH HEY TRAIL The Maah Daah Hey Trail cuts through some of the nation’s most stunning landscapes along the Little Missouri River. This epic trail spans 144 miles through the Little Missouri National Grasslands — an area covering more than 1-million acres of rugged Badlands between the two main units of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This trail has earned national recognition for its spectacular single track mountain biking for cyclists of all skill levels. Clip in and you’ll nd yourself on a wild ride through ever-changing terrain: towering buttes, rolling prairies and a beautiful river valley. The Maah Daah Hey Trail is a multi-use single track trail for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Non-motorized vehicles are allowed on the trail. Multiple U.S. Forest Service campgrounds offer rest and potable water along the way.
