WINTER AMAZING ARCHITECTURE Open House Chicago is hosted by the Chicago Architecture Center every October, offering free behind-the-scenes access to more than 170 architecturally significant neighborhood buildings, including many that are not typically open to the public. Frank Lloyd Wright architecture can be found throughout the Chicago area, including the Frederick C. Robie House in Hyde Park, The Rookery in the Loop, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District , located outside the city in suburban Oak Park, featuring the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio and the Unity Temple . Both the Unity Temple and the Robie House are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Chicago Architecture Biennial is the largest architecture and design exhibition in North America, featuring projects created by contributors from around the globe on view at free exhibits and events throughout the city.
