EVENT Delegates and leadership embraced Washington, DC, for the 35th International Papillomavirus Conference. We had 1,782 participants from 105 countries gather at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, which was a spectacular venue. The delegates enjoyed DC’s neighborhoods, hotels and restaurants. Proximity to National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and a growing biotech hub with a strong vaccine development ecosystem infl uenced our program of over 90 speakers presenting new science. A highlight was Dr. Jill Biden welcoming our delegation.
