LOMBARD STREET Lombard Street Dubbed the “Crookedest Street in the World,” Lombard’s hairpin curves, Victorian homes and beautiful gardens attract visitors from across the globe. How to do it: Walk the one-block section from the top of the hill at Hyde Street to Leavenworth Street (stick to sidewalks, please). COIT TOWER Perched high on Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower is a defining landmark of the city’s skyline and offers panoramic views from the top.
