Buffalo Gap National Grassland Rolling prairie, woodland creeks, and the Badlands characterize the vast 600,000 acres of Buffalo Gap National Grassland. Known for its expansive ecosystem with diverse flora and fauna, the area offers peace, open space, and myriad opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Despite the ongoing transformation of the National Grasslands Visitor Center in Wall, helpful staff are on site to provide maps, recreation tips, and educational resources.
