The home Arthur and Maggie Mellette built in the mid 1880’s is now beautifully restored with much of their own furniture and many personal effects. Once inside the door, the visitor has stepped into early Dakota. During the 1880’s and 1890’s many elegant receptions and social gatherings graced this Italianate style home.
