We had 1,782 participants from 105 countries convene for four days at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The delegates enjoyed access to great neighborhoods, hotels and restaurants. DC is close to the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and a growing biotech hub. That all infl uenced our program, which had more than 90 speakers who shared knowledge and presented new science. Dr. Jill Biden welcomed our delegation.
