Growing up in Virginia, he didn’t know new orleans was “the greatest place on earth” until he made a decision to move here, sight unseen, more than 20 years ago. He quickly realized it would be his forever home. "It’s the most special place I’ve ever been, and I will never leave.” What makes New Orleans such a special place? The people of New Orleans are so welcoming and gracious. It’s a beautiful day outside. How are you spending it? Get a daiquiri, take a walk at Crescent Park, hit Pizza Delicious for a slice, go swimming at The Country Club, jump on the streetcar, eat on Oak Street, and catch a show at The Maple Leaf. What’s the best meal you’ve ever eaten here? Tan Dinh on the West Bank. I get the fish sauce chicken wings, Korean short ribs, egg rolls, maybe a banh mi.
