The colorful murals in Rock Springs and Green River reflect the vibrant towns they call home, each telling a different story of the culture, wildlife and history of the region. The “Spirit of the Wild” mural on Flaming Gorge Way in Green River features horses running alongside a train and the rock formation Castle Rock. Continue north to the White Mountain Petroglyphs site and hike a short distance to view the sandstone etchings dating back more than 200 years.
