Red Desert Roundup Rodeo & Parade Rock Springs Head to the Sweetwater Events Complex for some professional riding, roping, wrestling, races and tie-downs while the kids try their hands at some mutton bustin’ and calf scrambling. Wyoming’s Big Show Rock Springs Thousands of folks from hundreds of miles around flock to Rock Springs for Wyoming’s Big Show. Offering a full calendar of rodeo action, family-friendly rides, delicious carnival eats, live concerts and livestock exhibits. Rods & Rails Car Show Rock Springs Each year, downtown Rock Springs becomes a showcase of new and classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, dragsters, RCs and Off Roads, paired with food, kids’ activities and live music. Flaming Gorge Days Green River Flaming Gorge Days explodes in Green River with a parade, festival, basketball and volleyball tournament, horseshoes, dodgeball and free kids’ activities. Plus, when the sun goes down, you can boogie to live music from locally and nationally recognized rock and country bands. SUMMER EVENTS // 18 JULY International Day Rock Springs As the only event of its kind in the state, International Day is held to celebrate the local heritage of 56 nationalities.
