VIEW RESPONSIBLY TIPS FOR VIEWING WILDLIFE If you’re observing wildlife, always do so ethically with the safety of you and the wildlife in mind. • Never feed wildlife. • Keep a respectful distance — this means 100 yards from bears and 25 yards from other wildlife. • Stay quiet and still. • Never chase or harass wildlife. • Utilize scenic pull-outs and parking areas whenever possible. • When stopping on roadways, park a safe distance from traffic and turn on your hazard lights.
