Through her provider Dr. Barbara Morris, Ida has been connected to crucial resources for her and her husband, including in-home occupational therapy and support groups for caregivers of family members with dementia. Of her experience as a patient, Ida shared: “I’m really happy with STRIDE. I think [it’s] a wonderful place…I think it’s the best place to be.” As Ida’s story demonstrates, STRIDE’s role in the community does not stop at simply providing medical care during an appointment.
