GOAT ISLAND RECREATION AREA This densely forested 800 acre island offers opportunities for visitors looking for a quiet get away. With 2 miles of meandering trails, primitive camp-ing, and gentle river views this is a great stop for anyone interested in experiencing this wonderful stretch of the Missouri River. Located between Myron Grove River Access and Clay County Park, Goat Island is only accessible by watercraft. Disc Golf 16 GREEN ISLAND RECREATION AREA Camp, canoe, kayak, hike, and more! This remote site offers 5 non-fee primitive campsites and is only accessible by watercraft. It is located on the South side of the Missouri National Recreational River, adjacent to the Corps of Discovery Bridge at Yankton. Privately owned campgrounds offer even more options.
