With three great options, you can compare flights for both convenience and affordability. * BUSES The Fairfax Connector provides service from many Metrorail stations and major attractions including George Washington’s Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Tysons Corner, Mosaic District, Reston Town Center and Springfield Town Center. The AutoTrain is available from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL and you can take Amtrak’s Northeast Regional Line from parts of Southern Virginia straight to Fairfax County. Virginia Railway Express (VRE) also offers rail service with lines originating in Manassas and Fredericksburg. Both run to and from Union Station in DC, with five stops in Fairfax County. Northern Virginia is known for its bike trails, with more than 500 miles in Fairfax County alone.
