HOTELS The hip, 182-room The Hoxton, Chicago in Fulton Market features Cabra , a rooftop Peruvian restaurant helmed by celebrity chef Stephanie Izard, cocktail lounge Lazy Bird , and all-day restaurant Cira . Reserve The Apartment , the Hoxton’s meeting and events space. Opening soon, the Asian-inspired, 155-room Nobu Hotel Chicago in the West Loop will feature a ground-floor Nobu restaurant, along with Nobu on the Roof , an indoor/outdoor lounge. The hotel will also offer multi-use suite space for private events. Hyatt House Chicago/West Loop-Fulton Market is located just steps from Randolph Street’s famed Restaurant Row. The 14-story hotel offers 200 rooms, along with two meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 100 attendees. The stylish, 333-room Aloft Chicago Mag Mile is situated on Ontario Street, close to North Michigan Avenue. The 19-floor hotel features four suites and seven meeting rooms. The 15-story St. Clair Hotel-Magnificent Mile is the flagship of Red Roof’s new upper-midscale Red Collection. The hotel features 208 modern, affordably priced guest rooms. Two new Hilton hotels offering a combined total of 342 guest rooms have opened under one roof in the South Loop. Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown South Loop features spacious studio, one-, and two-bedroom suites, complete with fully equipped kitchens. Guest rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown South Loop offer picture-perfect views of Lake Michigan and Museum Campus. Two flexible conference rooms accommodate up to 45 attendees. Beatnik on the River Navy Pier ’s planned new boutique hotel is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton . The stunning 222-room hotel will boast skyline and Lake Michigan views, along with a huge rooftop restaurant and event space. Le Colonial has moved to a new location on Oak Street, where it’s retained its tropical 1920s French-Asian flair. The Monkey Parlour is the restaurant’s private dining room, which seats 12. Beatnik on the River unveiled a new indoor space adjacent to its waterfront cocktail bar. The boho chic venue, covered in Persian rugs and decorative tiles, is available for private parties. Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened its first Chicago restaurant on Oak Street in the Gold Coast. The restaurant includes a tasting room (perfect for private events), three-story wine tower, and a retail store. RPM on the Water is a dramatic four-level seafood restaurant overlooking the Chicago River. The complex includes RPM Events on the Water , featuring indoor and outdoor spaces with sweeping river views, accommodating up to 425 guests. In collaboration with former Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon, Maddon’s Post at Gallagher Way is a two-floor restaurant with an Italian-Polish menu by James Beard Award-winning chef Tony Mantuano. The second level features The Flamingo Room, a private DINING Recess , housed in a renovated West Loop warehouse, offers elevated bar food and water cooler-sized drinks for groups to share, along with a 10,000-square-foot private event space called City Hall . Barton G. The Restaurant in River North is known for over-the-top dishes like the whole roasted duck served in a giant birdcage with a video of dancing ducks. The restaurant’s second floor is reserved for private parties. ROOH Chicago in Fulton Market is headed by renowned executive chef Sujan Sarkar. The menu features modern Indian dishes and exotic cocktails. A rustic downstairs private dining room seats 10. Located within LondonHouse Chicago, Ocean Prime offers an impressive menu of seafood and prime cuts in a luxe setting overlooking the Chicago River.
