The style is European: Dry reds with great flavor, specifically pinot noirs and cabernet francs. “I didn’t get into this to make bad wine,” Roberts said. “I always tried to make the wine the rest of the world drinks.” While they may have been “ahead of their time” back in the 1990s, their natural winery Deep Creek Cellars has since inspired a local pairing selection from Firefly Farms, a cheesemaker in Accident, and High Country Creamery & Market in Grantsville.
