Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy, Lincoln February 9 This fundraising event brings professional and local chefs together with chocolate connoisseurs and live music to raise money for the Historic Haymarket District. Swing Under the Wings, Ashland February 10 1940s themed event with live big-band music and dancing. Dress in your best USO vintage clothing and party under the wings of historic haycraft. “The Price is Right” Live, Grand Island January 30 Audience members at the Heartland Events Center will have their chance to be a part of the interactive stage show and “come on down.” Sandhill cranes. CRANE TRUST, CHUCK COOPER MAR Harlan White Pelican Watch, Harlan County March 1-April 15 The American White Pelican stops at Harlan County Reservoir on its return migration journey from the U.S. Gulf Coast to Canada and Alaska. Annual Sandhill Crane Migration, Platte River Valley Mid February -Mid April More than 600,000 sandhill cranes land on a 70-mile stretch of the Platte River as they rest and feed before completing their migratory journey. 56 Visit Nebraska
