Key West MAIN STREETS Duval Street: Key West's Lively Side Key West’s Duval Street spills over with laughter and music from legendary spots such as the Green Parrot, Sloppy Joe’s and Captain Tony’s Saloon, where a young Jimmy Buffett found his muse and his message. In time, travelers would seek out Buffett’s fictional utopia of Margaritaville and attempt to frequent most, if not all, of the street’s watering holes in an odyssey known as “The Duval Crawl.” Few places have such a challenge named in their honor.
