BRASS BAND Brass band music is the African-influenced jazz music of New Orleans’ streets, featuring all manners of brass instruments and drums often played by marching musicians. ZYDECO Louisiana’s Creoles invented this rollicking, bluesy cousin of Cajun music, where the accor-dion and frottoir (washboard) take center stage. Sunday BB King’s Blues Club All-Star Band Blues and barbecue in the heart of New Orleans — what could be better? Hear the BB King’s Blues Club All-Stars perform daily and nightly at their namesake French Quarter restaurant and music venue. Legendary local guests have in-cluded the likes of zydeco king Chubby Carrier and Cyril Neville. BLUES You can hear the wailing, driving sounds of the Mississippi Delta every night of the week in the Crescent City.
