central west LPGA GOLF Founded as a non-profi t in 1950, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is the premier sports organization for America's women golfers. Since its inception, the LPGA has evolved to include every facet of golf, from international tournaments to women’s and junior programs to the LPGA Foundation in support of young women golfers. Based in Daytona Beach, LPGA International is a residential community that serves as the headquarters of the association. It features two 18-hole golf courses and the LPGA Golf Academy. Several of the LPGA Tour events are held in Florida, and you can salute women golfers at the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame in the World Golf Hall of Fame, part of the World Golf Village in St. Augustine.
