Eat Like a Local

Best Restaurants off the Beaten Path

New Orleans is a city known for its food and drink scene, and with hundreds of restaurants to choose from, it can be tough to find hidden gems. If you’re looking to eat like a local, look no further!

Great eats await in every neighborhood of New Orleans, you just have to know where to go! N7 is a neighborhood French restaurant and wine bar in the Bywater. Nikkei Izakaya in Mid-City offers Japanese and Peruvian food like none other. Tucked between Lakeview and Mid-City, Rosedale serves up elevated favorites in a rustic setting. Head to the Tell Me Bar, and yes, you might get a little lost trying to find it. (Don’t worry, it’s worth the hunt!)

Midnight Munchies

NOLA’s Late-Night Food Scene

Follow your appetite to the wee hours with Korean hot fries and sticky spareribs from The Will & The Way, plus Seaworthy serves up oysters and cocktails until midnight on weekends. Need to get some work in? Head to The Bean Gallery, New Orleans’ late-night coffee shop. Or you could always go to Melba’s – with two locations open around the clock, they’ve got you covered!

Snazzy Jazzy Brunch Spots

A one, a two, a one-two-three-four … jazz brunch is always a great time in New Orleans. Our favorite spots include Commander’s Palace, Broussard’s, and Antoine’s for traditional Creole cuisine and a lively atmosphere. Be sure to dress to impress!
