You don’t have to venture outside city limits to explore the outdoors in Louisiana. New Orleans is known the world over for its world-class food and drinks, some of which you can enjoy al fresco while taking in the city’s famous attractions.
Pop up to a rooftop bar or balcony to soak up the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street from above – with a classic Louisiana cocktail in hand, of course – or tuck into a courtyard to enjoy an intimate dinner in a peaceful outdoor oasis.
In the city’s famed French Quarter, balconies at Tableau and Muriel’s pair elegant cocktails and fine dining with views of Jackson Square, while more casual joints like Bourbon Pub, Bourbon Heat and Good Friends Bar ramp up the energy so you can still be a part of the party on the street below. Or escape to The Court of Two Sisters on Royal Street, where a wisteria-blanketed courtyard with a trickling fountain provides the perfect backdrop for a more relaxing meal.
