MAAH DAAH HEY TRAIL

The Maah Daah Hey Trail cuts through some of the nation’s most stunning landscapes along the Little Missouri River.

This epic trail spans 144 miles through the Little Missouri National Grasslands — an area covering more than 1-million acres of rugged Badlands between the two main units of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Nationally recognized for its thrilling singletrack, the Maah Daah Hey Trail offers an unforgettable ride through varied terrain — towering buttes, rolling prairies, and a scenic river valley.

This multi-use trail welcomes hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders, with non-motorized access only. Along the way, U.S. Forest Service campgrounds provide rest stops and potable water.
