CRUISE & CONQUER

Maah Daah Hey Trail, near Medora

Bike adventurers will have plenty to celebrate here. Whether you want to cruise on a cross-country bike trip or conquer a nationally recognized trail, you and your bike are welcome here.

The Greenway, Grand Forks

North Dakota is great for cross-country bike trips. For some favorite routes, try our designated scenic byways and backways (See page 40). Before riding, check local visitor centers, state and federal parks, state and federal Forest Service offices and local bike shops for their recommendations on the best routes.

You can find every level of mountain biking trails in state parks and city greenways. If you’re looking for a challenge, the rugged Badlands, the rolling hills of the Turtle Mountains and the forested trails of the Pembina Gorge should be on your list.
