Meet a CMU Student

“I was drawn to Grand Junction by the natural landscapes surrounding the area and the promise of adventure posed by its terrain. Colorado Mesa University’s Outdoor Recreation program allows me to pursue my passion in nature’s classroom through an abundance of trails, canyons, and rivers. My experiences with singletrack trails, rock walls, and waterfall hikes have been some of the most transformative adventures for me.” — Zeke Punzel, Colorado Mesa University Class of 2024
