Keep in mind that some toll roads no longer accept cash. To pay the tolls, you can purchase a SunPass (available at SunPass.com, the Florida Welcome Centers, and many retailers, including Publix, CVS, and Walgreens) or pay via toll-by-plate. EZ Pass, NC Quick Pass, and GA Peach Pass are now accepted on all Florida toll roads that accept SunPass and SunPass Pro. Visit SunPass.com for more information.
VISITOR INFORMATION CENTERS
At Official Florida Welcome Centers, visitors have access to Certified Information Specialists, maps, brochures, and a variety of amenities. In addition, VISIT FLORIDA also offers more than 50 Certified Visitor Information Centers around the state. These facilities must meet requirements for convenient location, accessible parking and restrooms, and operate at least five days a week year-round.
