Governor’s Welcome

Greetings,

Welcome to Georgia! On behalf of Jarrett, Lucy, Amy Porter, and the entire state, we want to say thank you for choosing to travel in our great state. Over the last six years, our family has visited all four corners of Georgia, experiencing the unique qualities each community has to offer. From small towns to major cities, with natural wonders and great attractions at every turn, we know you’ll find a reason to keep Georgia on your mind.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a lifelong Georgian, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Embark on new adventures in the North Georgia mountains, relax on the pristine beaches of the Golden Isles, and discover the charming towns in between. Our state parks and natural resources offer exciting activities and breathtaking scenery, while museums and historic sites bring Georgia’s past and contributions to our present to life.

From Atlanta to Savannah, Georgia’s cities offer quality dining and entertainment. Our vibrant music and arts scenes can be felt from Macon to Athens, including filming locations in towns everywhere in between. World-class sports venues that bring fans from all over the nation and world beckon across the state, from Augusta to Columbus.

We want to say thank you again for choosing to explore Georgia. No matter where your travel takes you in the Peach State, you’ll be greeted with new memories and our world-famous Southern hospitality. The hardworking people who give Georgia our identity and make us who we are stand ready to greet you. Enjoy your time here!

Sincerely,

BRIAN P. KEMP & MARTY A. KEMP

GOVERNOR & FIRST LADY OF GEORGIA
