Outdoor Adventures
Bike across Kent Island for Bay views. Cycle the South Island Trail to fish at Romancoke Pier. Or take the Cross Island Trail, which ends at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville, where soaring gulls and summer wildflowers abound.
Time-travel at Calvert Cliffs State Park in Lusby by excavating shark teeth from the sand and wading as gentle waves lap your legs.
Nature Centers
The Sandy Point Nature Center in Annapolis boasts interactive exhibits on native birds, plants and insects.
Peek at snakes and turtles at the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center in Abingdon, or kayak across Otter Point Creek.
