Built in 1985 and dedicated to the late Kirk Ditzler, the Sea Ranch Chapel is one of the most iconic landmarks in Northern California. Ditzler’s eclectic drawings formed the basis for the chapel’s design, which features a whimsical winged roof and redwood exterior. Inside, visitors will find colorful stained glass windows, free-form sculptures, hand-carved redwood benches, mosaics and countless other artistic marvels. The Sea Ranch Chapel is open to all denominations and can accommodate up to 20 guests.

Carved out of the Sonoma County hillsides, wine caves make a romantic setting for your small wedding. From the deep volcanic caves at Kunde Family Winery to the barrel-lined walls and Spanish-inspired wines at Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, these caverns are ideal venues for couples seeking a uniquely Wine Country experience. Most of the wine caves can accommodate no more than 100 guests.

This 130-acre agricultural paradise is ideal for couples who have a passion for sustainability. Owner Jorge Saldana operates two popular Mexican restaurants in Berkeley and San Francisco that use produce grown on the farm. The property includes a historic farmhouse turned farmstay, the Colonel Armstrong Vacation Home, which was built in 1890 and completely renovated in 2017. The home can sleep up to 14 guests and offers a large open dining space as well as an expansive patio that can accommodate small weddings.

This Folk Victorian-style home was built in 1910 by Camille Aguillon, who also established one of the area’s first wineries. With its lush gardens and sweet carriage house, Maysonnave House has become a popular choice for destination weddings. Located just steps from Sonoma Plaza and several hiking trails, the venue offers micro wedding and elopement packages designed for 25-50 guests.

With its Old World masonry and beautiful setting surrounded by vineyards, the circa-1908 Old Stone Building at Trione Vineyards & Winery is a timeless backdrop for your wedding day. Trione offers elopement packages for couples wanting a simple yet elegant affair, including a ceremony for up to 20 guests, an officiant, and six bottles of sparkling brut with a charcuterie board for the post-wedding celebration.
