DELISH EATS & DRINKS Chicago’s acclaimed dining scene is truly one-of-a-kind, jam packed with everything from Michelin stars to cozy dive bars. Make a reservation at one of our many award-winning restaurants, visit a neighborhood craft brewery, and be sure to grab a classic Chicago hot dog. Like hot dogs and deep dish pizza, craft beer is synonymous with Chicago. Our city is home to one of the largest concentrations of breweries in the country, as well as the first two Michelin-star brewery in the world: The Dining Room at Moody Tongue. Sample the must-order beers at some of Chicago’s top craft breweries, or look for them in bars and restaurants across the city. CRUSHED BY GIANTS The Streeterville neighborhood’s first craft brewery offers an everchanging list of draft beers, ranging from kettle sours to saisons, to go with its casual menu of pizza and sandwiches. Try the Neon Werewolf, a fruity IPA. RAVINIA BREWING The Logan Square taproom of this North Shore brewery offers a rotating tap alongside Mexican cuisine. The list includes Steep Ravine, their flagship IPA that’s also offered aged in oak spirals. GOOSE ISLAND This iconic Chicago brewery, known for its barrel-aged beers, has a brewpub in Lincoln Park and a taproom near West Town. For something lighter try 312, an urban wheat ale, or Green Line, an American pale ale. REVOLUTION BREWING With more than 20 beers on tap, this Logan Square brewpub’s favorites include Anti-Hero, an American IPA, or Fist City, an American pale ale. CORRIDOR BREWERY & PROVISIONS The offerings shift frequently at this Lakeview brewpub, from double-hopped IPAs to fruity sours. Quest for Fruiteroo, an apricot-and-coconut sour, is an incredibly refreshing choice. ERIS BREWERY AND CIDER HOUSE You can’t come to ERIS and not try one or more of their ciders. The list includes mango jalapeño, rosé, and strawberry-rhubarb versions. MOODY TONGUE You can sample Moody Tongue beers at the brewery’s two unique dining experiences: The Bar or The Dining Room, which holds two Michelin stars. This South Loop brewpub impresses with selections like the creamy Caramelized Chocolate Churro porter and Sliced Nectarine IPA. TURNER HAUS BREWERY At this Black-owned brewpub in Bronzeville, all beers are named after beloved female family members. Gazelle, a hazy double IPA, is brewed in collaboration with Tennessee Brewing Works. Chicago Friday Night Flights With what seems like an ever-growing list of breweries across the city, it can be daunting to try and experience all that our craft beer scene has to offer. Chicago Friday Night Flights solves that problem by hosting various tasting events showcasing local breweries throughout different city neighborhoods. If you’re a beer lover, you won’t want to miss this summer series. Learn more at chicagofridaynightflights.com.
