“From the diverse soil to the wind that creates our microclimates to the mountain ranges to the incredible bodies of water, Sonoma County brings life to the vines that results in fine wine across 18 AVAs. It’s a balance that reaches to the soul, and why our family ended up here. To enjoy the peace of heaven, to enjoy a glass of wine.” -Robledo Family Winery Known for its neat rows of vineyards, lush countryside and rolling hills, the largest of the three regions of Sonoma County is home to many of Sonoma County’s 18 distinctive American Viticultural Areas, or wine regions. Beyond wine, the Valleys and Vineyards region offers a multitude of outdoor activities, with popular draws that include Lake Sonoma, the Russian River, and numerous regional parks.
