Farm Fresh
Main Street has a farmer's market every Thursday evening during the summer, and you’ll find roadside stands all over the area during summer and autumn. When you visit, bring extra bags to take home the freshness of our local produce. In late summer and early fall, you’ll find peach stands everywhere— a must-do if you’re visiting for the first or 10th time.
Wine Pairings
Most restaurants here offer local wines to pair with their meals. In fact, many wineries use locally grown fruits in their recipes, providing a rare opportunity to pair a local wine with a local dish that may share the same ingredient! This gives you a full farm-to-table experience like nowhere else.
Tasting Tours
Many local wineries also pair cheeses and other bites to enhance your experience. We suggest spending at least one afternoon here touring a vineyard or two. Local vineyards are able to grow many varietals of grapes, so you’ll find a wide selection of wines if you visit several wineries. Wine tastings are generally free, though some locations charge a small fee, just ask when you arrive.
