AIR TIME MADE EASY Chicago leads the way when it comes to accessibility. We rest conveniently in the center of the country and boast two first-class airports with approximately 1,450 non-stop arrivals from 245 domestic and international destinations, allowing attendees to travel from almost anywhere. Nearly 50 carriers (and their regional airline partners) serve O’Hare and Midway, which means attendees can easily travel on the airline of their choice. O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT O’Hare is just 18 miles from downtown and is one of the busiest airports in the country. As of September 2015, the airport has 1,104 daily direct flights to 161 U. S. destinations and 132 daily direct flights to 59 international destinations. Fifty-five airlines serve O’Hare. In fact, O’Hare International Airport has the best connections to other airports, large and small, in the U.S. and around the world, according to a 2013 report from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. O’Hare has also been voted “Best Airport in North America” by readers of Global Traveler magazine for 12 consecutive years. DOMESTIC TERMINALS 1, 2 AND 3 Each terminal features outstanding dining options, from Chicago restaurants to your favorite national food franchises. Shop national brands, boutiques and convenience kiosks, or relax and enjoy services from three spas. There are power stations located throughout the terminals and Wi-Fi in most public areas of the airport (available for a small fee). Other features include an indoor urban garden, public art displays, a yoga room, rooms for nursing mothers, and a service animal/ pet relief room in the Rotunda in Terminal 3. INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL 5 In 2014, O’Hare unveiled the new $26 million International Terminal 5. Key features include: • Twenty-four new, luxury retail and dining destinations, including 11 local Chicago brands. • A redesigned TSA checkpoint. • A new 10,000-square-foot flagship duty-free store, the first of its kind in North America. • Luxury restrooms, dynamic loungestyle seating with outlets and USB ports, and new lighting and signage that incorporate recycled materials. MIDWAY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT A mere 10 miles from downtown, Midway is a premier point-to-point airport, offering leisure and business travel to 77 destinations with nearly 270 daily flights. Six airline carriers serve Midway. Midway has three concourses, each filled with a wide variety of dining options and shops. You can find a place to grab a bite in your concourse, or check out the food court at the Midway Boulevard (located just past security), where you can pick up a sandwich from Potbelly’s Sandwich Works or a famous Chicago burger at Illinois Bar & Grill. Public art displays throughout the airport feature sculptures, paintings and murals. Midway also offers a yoga room and a room for nursing mothers in Download the FlySmart Concourse C Find details on parking, amenities, flight status, terminal maps and more for both O’Hare and Midway airports at FlyChicago.com.
