Might as well start at the “top!” Vue Orleans is taking visitors to new heights with its 360-degree observation deck overlooking New Orleans and the Mississippi River. If you’re travelling with the fam, Central Louisiana is the place to be. Everyone’s a kid at the new Toledo Bend Family Adventure Park, where you’ll find a lazy river, three swimming pools, a splash pad, waterslides, mini golf and more. You’ll also love PlayCenla in Alexandria, where you can climb the walls, scamper on ropes and zoom on ziplines. And at Wayback’s Arcade in Pineville, you can introduce your little ones to all the games you loved as a kid. Later in 2023, you'll be able to tee up at the renovated Cypress Bend Golf & Conference Center. In North Louisiana, head to Monroe-West Monroe where, with the opening of Antique Alley’s Alley Park, everything old is new again. This reimagined outdoor space is hopping with concerts, art markets and more. While in town, take on the new mountain bike trails at Kiroli Park. In Pioneer, you’ll dig the new virtual reality experience at Poverty Point World Heritage Site, where it’s never been easier (or more fun!) to go back 3,400 years in time.
