Welcome to our new Kentucky home
A world-class destination offering exciting adventure, warm hospitality and amazing stories thanks to the spirit of our people.

Here in the Bluegrass State, we’re proud of our past and even more proud of our future. After back-to-back record-breaking years for our $13.8 billion tourism industry, we’ve shown folks across the globe just how special our home is. And we’re thrilled you are joining the more than 79 million recent visitors in exploring the rich heritage that makes our beloved traditions so unique, while also discovering the unexpected surprises that are making our future so bright.
From the thrill of the Kentucky Derby to the longest cave system in the world at Mammoth Cave National Park, the wonder of the Red River Gorge or the famous moonbow at Cumberland Falls, there is something for every traveler. You can also see Kentucky’s natural beauty at our 44 state parks, where families have been making memories together for 100 years.
Take a dive into our history and culture by stopping for a visit at the Muhammad Ali Center, Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park, Loretta Lynn’s Homeplace, the National Corvette Museum, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum or the National Quilt Museum.
And of course, you can always stop at one of our famous distilleries, as Kentucky produces 95% of the world’s bourbon – and 100% of the bourbon worth drinking.
Wherever your trip leads you, you’ll quickly find it’s the kindness and warm hospitality of our people and the more than 95,000 Kentuckians working in our travel industry that will make your visit so memorable.
On behalf of Team Kentucky, I invite you to enjoy all the wonderful experiences the commonwealth has to offer. And don’t be surprised if you find yourself wanting to make the Bluegrass your new Kentucky home.
