In many ways, it’s a place of firsts: it was the first territory in the world (as well as the first state) to grant women the right to vote; it’s home to the world’s first national park — Yellowstone; the country’s first national monument, Devils Tower; and the first national forest, Shoshone. And while Wyoming is a place of notable firsts, it’s the frontier spirit, deep-rooted western hospitality and people that combine to create a truly special destination that’s ready for adventure and exploration, from Cody in the northwest corner to Laramie in the southeast corner and all the incredible places in between.
