One of the best parts of my job is getting to talk about Arizona with people across the country and around the world. With our state’s spectacular natural features, unmatched hospitality and award-winning Southwest cuisine, the only tough part is deciding what to talk about first. But I always end these conversations in the same way — by inviting them to come here to experience it for themselves. And I extend the same invitation to you. Whether you’re planning your first trip here or you’re one of our many regular visitors, this guide is designed to inspire you to explore Arizona in your own way. Each region of our state offers unique culinary, cultural and geographic attractions, while all contributing to the one-of-a-kind Arizona experience. I’ve been fortunate to have visited just about all of our communities throughout our state and am always reminded how much there is to (re)discover here. I’m always proud to say there’s no better place to live, work, recreate and visit than Arizona. We look forward to welcoming you soon. DOUG DUCEY Governor, State of Arizona Wellness. Stargazing.
