Stop by the Lucerne Valley Marina and rent a houseboat for a truly unique experience camping in the middle of a lake. #2 DOWNTOWN ART MURALS IN ROCK SPRINGS & GREEN RIVER The colorful murals in Rock Springs and Green River reflect the vibrant towns they call home, each telling a different story of the culture, wildlife and history of the region. The “Spirit of the Wild” mural on Flaming Gorge Way in Green River features horses running alongside a train and the rock formation Castle Rock. #3 WHITE MOUNTAIN PETROGLYPHS Continue north to the White Mountain Petroglyphs site and hike a short distance to view the sandstone etchings dating back more than 200 years. The landscape is an important cultural site for Native Americans featuring more than a dozen panels of rock art. #4 PILOT BUTTE WILD HORSES Take the opportunity to view the area’s wild horses by driving along the Pilot Butte Wild Horse Scenic Loop. GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK As you drive through the plains toward northwestern Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park unexpectedly takes your breath away.
