Run a 10K, half- or full marathon (or cheer for those who do) the first weekend of December during the largest single-day fundraiser for Memphis-based St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

SOUTHERN HERITAGE CLASSIC
Every September, the Southern Heritage Classic brings one of the biggest HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) rivalries to Memphis, when the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Tennessee State University compete at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. In addition to the game, fans enjoy battles of the bands, concerts, tailgating and a parade.
