Fairfax County’s craft beverage scene is flavor-packed, from hazy hops and bold reds to silky smooth spirits. With 10 craft breweries, three wineries and two distilleries on tap, #FXVA raises a glass to its most spirited spots.

Breweries
Start your hop-forward adventure at Aslin Beer Co. in Herndon, known for innovative IPAs and creative can art, while nearby Juicy Brewing lives up to its name with fruit-forward sours. Bunnyman Brewing brings urban legends, craft lagers and ciders to Burke, Lorton and now Chantilly. Caboose Brewing offers a rail-side setting in Vienna and an enormous beer garden at its Merrifield location. In Reston, cycle then sip at Bike Lane Brewing & Cafe or enjoy lakefront views with crisp pours at Lake Anne Brew House.
Soak up the Hawaiian flair at Ono Brewing’s self-serve tap wall in Chantilly, then delight in seasonal flavors at Settle Down Easy Brewing in Falls Church and Oakton. Get your next pour in Lorton at Fair Winds Brewing and G34.3 Brewing, which are well-stocked with handcrafted local brews and good vibes.
Wineries
Don’t miss the fermented craft and sweet taste of traditional Ethiopian honey wines (Tej) at Negus Winery. Sample a variety of vintages and Virginia terroir at Virginia Governor’s Cup Case winner Paradise Springs Winery in Clifton or at The Winery at Bull Run in Centreville adjacent to a historic, Civil War battlefield.
Distilleries
Toast history and learn how grains and whiskeys are made (the old-fashioned way) at George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill in Mount Vernon. Or go modern with Open Road Distilling Co. in Reston, where handcrafted spirits shine on their own or mixed into a delectable cocktail.
