How did you choose Sonoma County as your wedding destination?
We wanted to choose a location that was meaningful to us joining our lives together. Since we met in the Bay Area and share an affection for wine, we decided Sonoma County would be the perfect place.
Where did you host your ceremony and reception, and why?
We had our ceremony and reception at Viansa Sonoma. We had two ceremonies, lunch, dinner, a cocktail hour and reception, so we knew we wanted a venue with tons of room and a variety of backdrops. Viansa was able to accommodate all the events on our big day!
What were some of your guests’ favorite sights and activities in Sonoma County?
We had plenty of guests that came early or stayed after our wedding to enjoy beautiful Sonoma County. Prior to the wedding there was a group that played golf at Rooster Run. We also had guests that explored downtown Sonoma, Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma, and of course, the amazing wineries.
What was your favorite thing about your Sonoma County wedding?
There are too many to choose from! Our wedding was truly the perfect day. Sonoma County graced us with perfect weather, the perfect backdrop of the vineyards and rolling hills, and an amazing set of vendors.
