SEE & DO

Revel in history and art at institutions like the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), Contemporary Jewish Museum and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, with the lush Yerba Buena Gardens just around the corner. Visiting during baseball season? Cheer on the eight-time World Series Champion San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park. Explore an aerial oasis at Salesforce Park, a 5.4-acre green space that sits 70 feet above the city. This neighborhood is also home to some of the city’s hottest nightclubs, from the multilevel experience at 1015 Folsom to high-energy dance parties at Monarch, Oasis and Cat Club.

EAT & DRINK

If you’re a foodie, there’s hardly a better place to be than SoMa. Dine at MICHELIN-recommended darlings like Benu, a beloved Korean restaurant from chef Corey Lee; Prospect, whose seasonal menu and craft cocktails are adored by locals; and Luce, where the Mediterranean- and European-influenced menu is sure to wow everyone at the table. Alexander’s Steakhouse, Barcha and Press Club are a few others to put on your list.
