Chicago’s most•visited attraction celebrates its 100th birthday through fall of 2017. Navy Pier continues the Fifth Third Bank Centennial Celebration with more exciting events and reimagined spaces. This historic local icon turned 100 in 2016 and celebrated with a $278 million transformation. See what the contemporary urban attraction and dramatic, diverse meeting destination has to offer your next gathering. WHAT’S NEW • A wave wall designed by famed architect James Corner provides unobstructed views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. • A rebuilt, illuminated grand staircase leads to the iconic Centennial Wheel. • An interactive water fountain doubles as an ice•skating rink in the winter. • The South Arcade indoor walkway is now a Chicago•themed food and dining marketplace. • The new Centennial Wheel stands 196 feet tall (50 feet taller than the one it replaced) and has 42 temperaturecontrolled carriages with seating for 10 people in each. NEW, DELICIOUS DINING EXPERIENCES • Giordano’s serves thin and extra•thin crust pizza, along with their famous stuffed, double crust masterpieces. • Goddess and The Baker serves made•to•order sandwiches and salads, a slew of pastries and specialty coffees. • Big City Chicken features fried chicken sandwiches, fries and floats. • Big Bowl Chinese Express is an offshoot from the Chicago favorite located on State and Cedar. • Frankie’s Pizza By the Slice is an extension of the pizzeria located on Michigan Avenue. • DMK Burger Bar & Fish Bar serves one of Chicago’s most beloved burgers. • Porkchop is a neighborhood party spot serving gourmet Southern comfort food and barbecue. MEETING & VENUE CAPABILITIES • Two exhibit halls, 34 meeting rooms, the classic Aon Grand Ballroom and Lakeview Terrace overlooking Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. • Festival Hall – This main exhibit space spans more than 170,000 square feet that can be divided to match your vision. • Aon Grand Ballroom – An 80•foot domed ceiling swathed in 3,000 dimmable lights, timeless architecture and sweeping lakefront views are just the beginning. • Lakeview Terrace – Groups of up to 1,000 gather in this 15,000•squarefoot space for individual or prefunction Aon Grand Ballroom events overlooking Lake Michigan. • 34 meeting rooms that can accommodate small to large functions and events.
