9/11 Candlelight Vigil
September 11, 2026

Hundreds of spectators holding American flags line Main Street to pay tribute to those lost on 9/11. A 21-gun salute and commemorative wreath taken out to sea honor our fallen loved ones.

Irish Italian International Festival

From parades to festivals, turn the holidays into unforgettable celebrations.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

March 14, 2026

Wear your green, grab a Guinness, and celebrate! This annual celebration draws thousands to Main Street every March. Kick off the day with a two-hour parade featuring over a hundred floats. After the parade, enjoy a full day of festivities including live performances, food and craft vendors, and a children’s play area for the wee ones.

4th of July & Summer Fun

From community golf cart parades, the Salute from the Shore flyover, and the Patriotic Cantata honoring God and country to the grand finale fireworks on the Cherry Grove Pier, celebrate the 4th of July in North Myrtle Beach.

Earlier in the summer starting in June, Barefoot Landing’s fireworks show ignites every Monday night through Labor Day.

The Great Christmas Light Show
November–December 2026

This two-mile drive-through light show features over two million lights and 500 displays. Stop by Santa’s Village for hot chocolate and a visit with the big man himself!

Christmas Festivities

Holiday happenings begin with the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta as it launches from Little River Inlet and travels south to North Myrtle Beach. The fun continues with the Annual NMB Christmas Parade on Main Street, where lighted floats and vehicles dazzle and delight all ages. Throughout the holidays, North Myrtle Beach also hosts the festive Dashing Through the Glow event, multiple tree lightings, and live Christmas shows to help you celebrate the season.
