Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian master artists are carving a series of totem poles as part of Kootéeyaa Deiyí, or Totem Pole Trail. Ultimately 30 poles will be raised along the Juneau waterfront as part of a vision to make the capital city the Northwest Coast art capital of the world.
