Storybook Church Wedding: St. Teresa of Avila Church
Constructed by shipbuilders in 1859, this white wooden chapel is the oldest church in continuous use in Sonoma County. Standing like a sentry on a hilltop above the small town of Bodega, it’s easy to see why the church caught the eye of director Alfred Hitchcock, who featured it in his 1963 film The Birds. Named after St. Teresa of Avila by local Spanish and Portuguese immigrants, the Roman Catholic church is open to people of all faiths for weddings and other celebrations.
California’s Oldest Winery: Buena Vista Winery`
Built in 1857, Buena Vista is the oldest commercial winery in California. Sheltered by towering oak trees, the outdoor Fountain Courtyard – complete with cobblestones and a bubbling fountain – makes an enchanting setting for weddings and receptions for up to 300 guests. Step inside the adjacent Champagne Cellar to explore several romantic, subterranean spaces for seated dinners and cocktail hours.
Romance & Adventure: Jack London State Historic Park

If you 're ready to take that leap, then say yes to a romantic adventure at Jack London State Historic Park. Encompassing 1,400 hilly acres of London's former ranchlands, the park offers a wide variety of venues - from the broad, grassy meadow of Beauty Ranch to the stone ruins of the Kohler and Frohling winery.
Wedding Bells: Mission San Francisco Solano
Mission San Francisco Solano was built in 1823 as the 21st and last mission established on the California mission trail. The church was purchased and reconstructed by the California Park System in 1906. Its Mexican character and beautiful outdoor courtyard make it a desirable wedding venue for couples who want to immerse themselves in the history and culture of Northern California.
