NEW ORLEANS The city has many transportation options to get you where you want to go. Here are a few of our favorites! TAKE THE STREETCAR Ride the rails in classic New Orleans style. The historic streetcar has routes throughout the city, from Uptown’s Audubon Park to the cemeteries and greenspaces of Mid-City. Learn more at neworleans.com/plan/transportation/streetcars. HAIL A RIDE Taxis, rideshares, pedicabs, and car services operate throughout New Orleans, making it easy to get around town quickly. CATCH THE FERRY Historic Algiers Point is just a quick boat ride away. A single ferry ride is $2 for adults, with discounts for children, seniors, veterans, and riders with disabilities. Departing every half-hour, the ferry can carry pedestrians, bikes, and scooters. BOARD THE BUS Buses run throughout the city, and one of our favorites is the No. 11 that passes the shops of Magazine Street. Plan your route and buy fares for the streetcar, bus, and ferry with the Le Pass app. GRAB A BIKE Cyclists love New Orleans, thanks to plentiful rentals and designated bike lanes throughout the city. Be sure to check out our Blue Bikes bike-share program that lets visitors reserve bikes from stations around town. Need information on bike routes?
